What is the

BTAC Conference Scholarship Program?

This initiative is made possible thanks to the generous support of our conference donors, sponsors, and attendees who contribute to our scholarship fundraisers. Together, we are building a stronger and more inclusive community.

The BTAC25 Scholarship Opportunity Is Now Closed!

Applications will reopen in October for BTAC26

We are thrilled to announce that applications for the BTAC 2026 Scholarship Program are now open!

The Black Trans Advocacy Conference (BTAC) offers a scholarship program designed to reduce financial barriers and support transgender individuals from historically marginalized communities across the United States.

Scholarship recipients are invited into a dynamic conference experience rooted in community building, empowerment, and shared responsibility.

Through participation in BTAC’s Wellness, Advocacy, and Host Committee Volunteer programs, participants deepen their leadership practice while contributing to a collective vision of social justice and liberation.

If you want to learn or impact our Black Trans Community, you need to be at events where we gather and talk about our issues.
