Black Trans Advocacy is happy to announce an invitation for Keynote Speaker Nominations for the 7th Annual National Black Trans Advocacy Conference. BTAC is the opportunity of a life time for leaders of the black trans movement. If you or someone you know would be a great candidate for this opportunity, please nominate them today. We are looking for creative and engaging keynote messages that will help to empower the Black Trans community and unite our greater society. Candidates for keynote speakers are reserved for those who are trans identified. We will select candidates from the trans, transmen and transwomen communities. The deadline to submit keynote speaker nominations is December 18, 2017.

Nominee has not presented as keynote speaker at BTAC in the past three years.
Identifies as trans, transman or transwoman.
Currently active and visible in the Black trans movement
Ability to lead our BTAC conference mission.
Prior public speaking or keynote speaker experience to an audience of 200+ people.
Ability to contribute to the cause & vision of Black Trans Advocacy.
Willingness and ability to easily interact with BTAC attendees.
Ability to connect the needs of the black trans advocacy movement in relation to our allies in supporting communities.
Knowledgeable of past, current and developing state of the Black Trans Community
You may submit a nomination either for yourself or someone else for the keynote speaker role.
Nomination Process Timeline
November 18, 2017 Call for 2018 keynote speaker nominations issued.
December 18, 2017 11:59p.m. (CDT) All keynote speaker nominations due.
Jan 15, 2018 Keynote Speaker – Elects will be notified to accept or decline the nomination.
